Healthcare is the largest and fastest growing industry in the United States. In this camp, students will engage in interactive activities to learn about the fundamentals of health sciences; including the study of human anatomy, diseases, and human function. Students will gain an understanding of the structure and function of the following: immune, skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, renal, and nervous systems.
At the conclusion of this camp, students will be able to:
1. Understand how health sciences can be put into practice to promote health, wellness, and diagnoses
2. Locate and identify organs and structures of human body systems
3. Explain the role that each organ system plays in our daily lives

Required materials: Pen/pencil, White paper, construction paper, colored pencils/markers/crayons, scissors, tape, glue, approximately 12” of string, 2 paper clips
